This time of year I am usually “alone” or by other means...without my “other half”
Dusty is usually gone to some team.... somewhere in the country for hockey! I have been so happy to have him around in the evenings to relax....watch Friday Night Lights reruns on Hulu...and our newest favorite shows Up All Night, and X Factor!! We try to bring Gus out for a walk every evening while the weather is nice and then come back for dinner. **Sigh** having his company has been amazing! This is our first complete Fall Season together - EVER. (Weird?)
Don’t get me wrong...every evening isn’t “post marital - bliss” - last night he spent 5 hours at the library...which ruined our “television and walking Gus time”.....its not always great, but I am not complaining. In the end....I am happy - and we get to celebrate the holidays this year...together!
Doing the fun things - handing out candy to trick or treaters, decorating a Xmas tree....etc.
I am happy Dusty chose to forgo trying to play hockey for the next
10 years and is instead wanting to spend it with me - all year round ;-)
Recently I was able to take senior photos for Claire - a gorgeous girl who drove all of the way from Menomonie, WI (5+ hours away!) just to have little ole’ me take her senior photos.
Of course she had family in the area so that helped with the decision I am sure ;)
Thank you Claire and Cathy for making the drive and being so great!!! I had a blast.
